A 10 minutes send/recieve policy.
Meaning, after a person types out a message and clicks the "send" button. That message will sit in the "Outbox" and gets sent after 10 minutes. For incoming mails, we'll only recieve it when the server moves its ass every 10 minutes.
So, we only get notifications of new mail every 10 minutes and our replies gets sent out after 10 minutes. That's like 20 minutes wasted on waiting for urgent replies!?
This was suggested because of the amount of people who keep anyhow clicking on "send" without checking what shit they typed and who they're supposed to send it to...
I cannot foresee how this is supposed to boost work efficiency... I GOTTA START DRAFTING THAT RESIGNATION LETTER SOON.

I just turned down an old friend's invitation to a dinner gathering for Friday because it clashes with my preparation for a shoot the following day. This is not the first time something of similarity happened. It's as if my old friends know my plans and interfere at the worst possible times ever.
The most recent one was on the third day of Cosfest 2007 when Kuroichou'07 debuted. I was almost ready, had my costume and wig all done, what's left was make up. Aries was helping me with my eyeliner then which was a pain to get it nicely done because of my internal double eyelids.She was about to define 1 eye when my phone suddenly rang, in order to rush in time to meet up with the rest of the team (they were already done and left for the event hall), I answered the phone while Aries continued.
My best friend from secondary school called to chat up, asking if I was free to go orchard with her. (Can anyone sense the WTF-ness?) I told her that I wasn't free then she started asking how I was doing before I had a chance to continue my sentence. I was held up for a couple of minutes in the middle of drawing the eyeliner. Aries was also getting kinda cheesed off, holding the eyeliner brush waiting for her to hang up. When I finally found a chance to continue talking, saying that I'm getting ready for a cosplay event. My friend started to ask me questions about the hobby coz she's part of the public who's never heard or seen the hobby.
NOTE: I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF GETTING READY WITH TIME CONSTRAINTS. HELLO?
I felt kinda bad for trying my best to hang up the call ASAP...

I got this sample pair of monthly disposable contacts (the normal clear types!). I'm not sure what's wrong but i can't see well with it... The degree written on the packaging is correct, but anything that's further than 1.5m is a blur D:

Anyway, went to Lau Pa Sat for lunch yesterday. Being a popular lunchspot in Shenton Way, it was naturally flooded with people. I spotted an empty table and reserved a seat using the free Chinese newspaper that I got earlier in the morning, before going off to buy lunch. When I came back with my tray of food, I saw the table I reserved was occupied by a group of 5 people. My newspaper was still on the table… Thing is, the table was kinda small, 5 people already sat down, there was no more space. WTF? They thought the newspaper belonged to one of their colleagues? I ended up stranded with a tray for the next 10 minutes, I couldn't hold my chopsticks properly after that coz I almost sprained my wrists from holding the tray… Not to mention losing that copy of newspaper D8

Went to the doctor on Monday morning regarding the contact lense hoohah from last Saturday, i'm offically diagnosed with contact lense infection and is advised to stay away from contacts til the redness in my left eye subsides. On a happy note, the doc gave me an MC HAH! THe medication is antibodic eyedrops to be taken 4 times a day!?
Back at work on Tuesday, countless people commented on my new look... Medium-short spiked hair and glasses.
Most had abit of trouble getting used to it. Some even asked if i went for another haircut lol

Major problem... Yamamoto is gonna be postponed til at least December, it kinda screws up the rest of my plans. Reason being, i will be using my real hair for him AND he has the shortest hair length among all the costumes, time doesn't allow me to grow my fringe and sides til at least eye level within 3 months. The other cosplays which i won't be using a wig are Aizen, Anji and Hakkai. It would be best if Yamamoto is pushed til after Anji, which is in March? Unless i switch the slots for Lambo and Yamamoto ._.

unlimystic , aries and death_angel/ kurei for fulfiling my wish of a birthday shoot! Although the character was a last-minute change but what the heck... I've always wanted to hold a photoshoot during my birthday period ever since i got into the hobby (go figure how long it's been) but was never able to do so because of issues popping up at the very last minute that forced me to postpone it.But that doesn't matter now!!!
After i changed out, we sat down at the riverside for awhile enjoying the wind before heading to Suntec's Pepper Lunch for dinner. I love the place so much, the steak is lurve!!! *w*
We headed over to the arcade after dinner to take a look at the new KOF: Maximum Impact Regulation A. I also played KOF seriously for the first time in my life! Coz i wanted to check out Ash's default alternate costume & see whether my alternate Kula's color scheme appeared. Picked alternate Ash, alternate Kula & Nagase :3
I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE ASH PROPERLY!! *cries*
I was anyhow mashing buttons & combos still came out! All those years of playing GG helped abit...

After leaving the arcade, 3 of us (Aries left early to meet someone at PS) went to Macs to slack. By that time, my eyes were feeling so horrible so i took my lenses out. They were SO red! OAO
Feeling paranoid, i went home without glasses or contacts! Felt like some blind person walking with a giant walking cane that is Sol's fireseal...
The left side is still reddish after a night's rest. Gonna head to a doctor if it's still like that on Monday morning... GIMME MC!!!

There i was, walking back towards the office from the nearby SUBWAY, my hands were kinda full with the carrier and a drink WITH NO CARRIER FOR IT.(Subway's medium-sized drink, go figure) Along the way were not 1 but 2 flyer girls, they're either blind or their brains are incapable of processing my situation and literally pushed what they're giving out into my hands, which are both occupied. I glared at them and walked straight past LOL
note: i know the title had nothing to do with the scenario, but i'm getting to that.
That was definately not the first time. There were countless times when i'm at the SengKang NEL station waiting for the train towards Harborfront, with my MP3 and headphones on, some random aunty will (without fail) ask me which direction goes to Hougang/Serangoon. *rolls eyes* If the platform was empty i'd understand, but when there are other random people around!?
Other similar incidents are either asking about bus services at bus stops/interchanges, directions to certain places at MRT control stations or tourists asking where to take the bus to the zoo at Ang Mo Kio. ALL WHEN I HAVE MY HEADPHONES ON BLASTING MUSIC AND THE PLACE IS CROWDED WITH OTHER PEOPLE FOR THEM TO BUG.
